The glowy effects on his eyes aren't actually visible to normal human eyes.

Will introduce himself as Yuuto to avoid connections with Ute (U-tay/U-tee) , who is a traitor to his homeland.(heartland, neo domino, academia and Maiami are all mashed together in one world here.)

He was once an "Action Duel" Champion(though these duels are less duel monsters and more warfare), because of his abnormal abilities ( eyes make it possible for him to see in most conditions-it's not infallible though, he survives injuries that most people wouldn't, never seems to scar, etc.) wining plenty of territory and resources for heartland. (why fight wars when you can make a game of it?)

When he discovered what he is, what gave him that power, and what he could do (he doesn't remember taking many of his injuries and they were downplayed.) he walked away from it refuses to support the tactics. However this has him listed as a traitor and has put him on the run and made him forsake "dueling" at all, even if he keeps his deck/disk on him to keep himself safe.

He doesn't know he has three brothers with the same or similar at least, abilities who may or may not be still working with the one responsible, unknowingly or knowingly...until he finds himself in Maiami in time for a championship and sees Yuuya. The likeness is too hard to write off as a coincidence....
